AUS Cheer Latest News - Friday 22nd January

VIC & WA Conferences were a great kick-start to the year
We’re off to a flying start, with lots of coaches and new people interested in starting cheerleading attending the Gymnastics VIC “Leaps & Bounds Conference” and Gymnastics WA “2010 Conference” last weekend.  A variety of sessions were offered including ‘How to get started’, ‘Creative Stunts & Choreography’ and ‘Strength and Flexibility for Cheerleading’.  All who attended are rearing to get into the new season of cheerleading, and are armed with some fresh ideas to introduce in their program.

Level 1 Coaches Course well attended in NSW
16 new coaches attended the Level 1 Coaches Course in NSW last week.  It was also great to welcome Emily, who travelled over from New Zealand to attend the course and additional workshops with Starlets Cheerleading.

Competition Handbook Amendments
Thanks for all the positive emails we received about the changes to the 2010 Competition Handbook…we knew you’d like them! We also received a couple of questions which we have clarified and made amendments in the Handbook.  Click here to download the updated Handbook (the amendments have been highlighted in yellow so you won’t need to download the whole Handbook again).
